How is it?
The game is short and sweet, nothing too fancy. You have a select amount of abilities to chose and spread which was a bit of a downer, but treating it more like a puzzle game on how to configure it to go from zone to zone is a bit more accurate.
I had a lot of fun throughout the missions learning different potential ways to go about the same problem, and the side objectives were fun to tackle as well (except you, 30 tornados). The missions aren’t overly complicated, and the progression with some perks is nice. It’s an improvement on the Plague Inc formula, while not being a copy-paste.
It has enough in it to differentiate itself from the competition while not straying too far from what that genre is. I’d say it is a great game to kill time, maybe do a mission or two when you have time and not stress about unlocks or anything. From my experience it can be completed on normal without needing perks, but on higher difficulty you absolutely need them. I don’t see it being too harsh on anyone that hasn’t tried that genre of game, and should be a very low barrier to entry.
I see it as a great game for the price, even not on sale. It does what it does & does it well.
